Vehicle Accident Procedure

If you have had an accident in a company vehicle, no matter how small, this MUST be reported so any damage can be repaired ASAP. 

 Remember, please ensure everyone is safe and no one is hurt. If it is necessary, call 999 immediately.

It is extremely important that you do not accept liability at the scene of any accident.

• Note down any vital details such as registration number, make of vehicle, accident time, area of accident/road code, and contact details of any possible witnesses.

• Take photos of any damage - please include ID shot (either the VIN number of registration plate), a mileage reading, all four corners of the vehicle and images of all the damage. We ask that these photos are sent across to one of our new email addresses, accident@saxtravel.co.uk.

• You must then fill out a claim form upon your next return to the yard.

• All damage should be recorded no matter how large or small.
