Smoking/E-Cigarettes

A smoking ban in the UK, makes it illegal to smoke in all enclosed work places in the UK, came into force on 1 July 2007 as a consequence of the Health Act 2006.

Please note E-cigarettes should not be used inside the works building or any company owned vehicle, the long-term effects of E-cigarettes are unknown and other staff shouldn’t be subjected to passive consumption. Company policy treats e-cigarettes the same as smoking.

The company also has cameras in all vehicles which will detect individuals smoking. The office will be notified of any such instance.

Anyone found smoking or allowing clients to smoke on the bus will be subject to disciplinary action
