Tour Operator Information

Signage

A select number of tour operators opt for decals on our vehicles. The office will have these put in your locker around 2 weeks prior to your tour, but on some occasions, may be closer to the tour start date. Please remember to be mindful of where you stick the vinyl, and it is always better to ask for an extra set of hands/eyes to make sure it isnt squint etc.

Perry Golf – two sizes of decal, small and large. Both with clear backing. These must be put on either side of the vehicle.

Haversham and Baker – one size of decal. One sign at the passenger side (nearside) of the vehicle.

Executive Golf and Leisure – two sizes of decal, small and large. These must be put on either side of the vehicle.

Grasshopper Golf – two sizes of decal, circular logo vinyl’s – small and large. One per vehicle – at passenger/nearside.

Golf Away Tours - two sizes of decal, circular logo vinyl’s – small and large. One per vehicle – at passenger/nearside.

Stock

Again, a select number of tour operators opt for branded stock to be on display in their hired vehicle. Please ensure that only the stock for the tour operator you are currently working for, is on show, and no other tour operators. This is extremely important, as many are competitors. Stock will be put in lockers around 2 weeks prior to the tour commencement, but on some occasions, may be later than this. These will be put in a clear plastic sandwich/freezer bag, labelled with the tour name. Ensure you check this before using.

The only two tour operators that provide stock, are:

Perry Golf – tees, ball markers, playing cards, napkins and pencils. Please collect monetary vouchers from the Office – these WONT be put in lockers and must be collected in person. The vouchers entitle use of £50.00 per golfer for St Andrews Links – retail, food, beverage. In addition, personalised tags with client names on are provided and will be in your stock pack provided.

Haversham and Baker – tees, pencils, ball markers and luggage tags.

Starter Packs

Some tour operators provide starter packs - in summary, this is an amount per person (for e.g. £10 per head) that is put towards refreshments for the coach - e.g. coke, diet coke, water, beer, crisps, chocolate, energy bars etc. In addition to your expenses, these will be put in your account prior to the tour. It is suggested that you DO NOT use the full amount, and leave some until you physically speak to the clients when they arrive - as they may opt for something in particular. For tours that dont have starter packs, it is your choice whether you spend the money to put refreshments on board, but the majority of the time, reaps its own rewards.

Haversham and Baker - £10pp

Adventures in Golf - £10pp

Grasshopper - £10pp

Some tour operators that dont usually do starter packs, may opt for one, depending on tour length, passenger numbers etc.
