TAY ROAD BRIDGE RESTRICTIONS
We contacted the Tay Road Bridge crossing control for their official advice on using our vehicles across the bridge in bad weather conditions.
"We have observed vehicles matching your 41 Seat, 9.5 ton vehicle crossing with no apparent issues when the bridge is open to cars and single decker buses only. However, I must stress that the decision to cross rests with your drivers, and we can only offer advice. With respect to the other vehicles noted, we would recommend that these do not cross when open to cars and single decker buses only. These are lighter vehicles with a raised roof line, and as such appear to fall into our "transit style with raised roof line" category and would be deemed vulnerable.
